On 1st April 2005 the Center for Organizational and Occupational Sciences (ZOA) was establisehd. It was created by merging two institutes. By this means, the former Institute of Hygiene and Applied Physiology as well as the former Institute of Work Psychology plan to even enforce their already close cooperation in Research and Education.

Note
We decided to use the German acronym "ZOA" in texts on this Webpage. ZOA is short for "Zentrum für Organisations- und Arbeitswissenschaften", the German Name of "Center for Organizational and Occupational Sciences".
